This lamp with dimmer and switch can be bought in combination with a battery set, for when you always play on location and are never near a power outlet anyway.

Attention: this lamp can not be used in a chain of interconnected lamps, although it can serve as the end of a chain. The advantage of the added switch is that the light stays at the same brightness level after switching off and on again. 

A dimmer is good to have in the following situations:

- when you are close to the music (e.g. with keyboard instruments)

- when the surroundings are really dark (candle light concert!)

Then the superb light of the Primavista can be a bit too much occasionally!
